Reclaimed Hardwood

Reclaimed wood is IN right now.   It gives that Farm House Style that is so popular.

These floors have a history and texture.  They are a lifetime product that is warm and inviting.   The downsize is the price.  Reclaimed floors will cost 20% - 80% more.

White Oak

White Oak can vary in color from ligjt to medium brown, pale yellow brown or dark pale brown.   White Oak can have a broad range of color variation.  White Oak stains and finishes well.  Rift and Quartered White Oak is very popular right now and is specified in many New York area jobs.


Cherry is a deciduous tree found in the Southeastern half of the US.  Black or American Cherry is much sought after for lumber and veneer for flooring, cabinets and musical instruments.  The color ranges from a light pink to light brown color and darkens to a reddish brown over a period of time.  There is a variety of color and figure as well as color variation among boards.  Dimensional Stability is average.  


Walnut is a deciduous tree found in the eastern US,   It is highly sought after for flooring, cabinets, furniture and musical instruments.   The color ranges from light grayish brown to a dark chocolate brown.  The sapwood is often  has a blonde appearance.   Dimensional Stability is average.
